Senior Revenue Manager

We are recruiting a Senior Revenue Manager to motivate, lead and develop the York based Revenue Services Team.


To ensure the effective implementation and application of Revenue Management techniques and strategies across the membership, using and improving the team’s expertise.

Working with key internal and external stakeholders including hotel own teams, suppliers and other Best Western functions to maximise revenue and share for Member hotels, whilst at the same time ensuring Members gain the maximum benefit from the brand.

Main Responsibilities

·Develop and execute strategies, to drive commercial performance, to benefit Member hotels.

·Engage with members, via day to day communication or at Best Western events

·Assist and develop the Revenue Services Team to evaluate revenue opportunities and challenges for each hotel and take remedial action to counteract any under performance.

·Act as an overall Revenue Consultant for member hotels and other Best Western functions

·Direct the activities of the team to ensure effective implementation of brand initiatives

·Arrange and coordinate team development projects and events.

·Track effectiveness of revenue services activities through member and internal stakeholder feedback.

·Establish and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the team.


You should be an experienced manager who inspires their team, building strong and effective business relationships. You will be commercially astute and be able to provide evidence of the successful optimising of revenues and driving a team to optimise revenues.You will also have experience of multi industry/key segment related hotels.

Qualifications and Knowledge

·Advanced functional knowledge of hotel yield management revenue techniques.

·Advanced functional knowledge of STR Performance Benchmarking Programme
