    We are seeking a Chef to join our team at Marco’s, our award winning New York Italian restaurant in Kegworth. Marco’s focuses on delivering excellent fresh, flavour packed food with warm, friendly service in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

    Marco’s forms part of our Leicestershire based family-run business which include the Yew Lodge Hotel, Reeds Health Club & Spa and the Houdini’s and USS Enterprise Escape Rooms.

    The main duties of the Chef will include:

    • Day to day food preparation.
    • Cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas.
    • Receiving deliveries and reporting stock levels.
    • Preparing, cooking and plating food during service.
    • Assisting in completing due diligence such as taking and recording food temperatures.
    • Contributing ideas for our Banqueting menus.

    We are looking for someone who has kitchen experience, loves food, has a strong work ethic and is able to think for themselves. You will need to have high standards of personal hygiene and have the confidence to engage with co-workers and be a team player.

    This is a full time role that includes early morning and late nights and pays a salary up to £21,500 per annum based on experience.  In addition you will also benefit from free and discounted meals, discounted gym membership and much more!
